In this segment of manufacturing, welded structures for power generation, as well as chemical industry and food processing, are considered. You can find a variety of materials applicable in this type of industry.

These materials are mostly selected either on the basis of resistance to creep (CrMo-steels) or embrittlement at high temperatures (Ni base alloys) or on the basis of corrosion resistance at ambient or elevated temperatures. Most of these parent materials are welded with matching consumables. However, there are exceptions. Currently the most applied welding processes are GTAW, SMAW, GMAW and SAW. Lincoln Electric has a long experience in this market segment and supports this type of industry with a extensive range of consumables and Machines. The options below will take you to examples of field applications with our products.
